The Fifth Annual Essay Contest of the Bedford Historical society was announced on Wednesday, May 23.

The Memorial Elementary School fourth grade winners were: in first place, Riley Chon, second, Avery Hudson and third, Katherine Zimmermann.

The Riddle Brook Elementary School fourth grade winners were: in first, Lydia Woodgate, in second, Jessica Rioux, and third Sophie Porthuru.

The Peter Woodbury Elementary School fourth grade Winners were: in first place, Laura Pellegrino, in second Hailey Jennato and in third, Jessica Lin.

The Mckelvie Intermediate School winner was Sophia Dimos.
