Local author and outdoor enthusiast Steve Priest will present “Using Technology with Outdoor Activities” from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, in the McAllaster Room of the Bedford Library.

Do you know how fast you walk or run? How far did you walk your dog? How many miles did you bike last month? How many miles paddled on the river? Can your friends look at a map and tell where you are on a remote wilderness trek?

Priest will share his use of smart phone and desktop technology in outdoor adventures. Audience members to bring and share their technology outdoor experience, as well as their Androids or iPhones.
