Bedford Men’s Club to host Carbonneau Cup Golf Tournament

The Bedford Men’s Club will host its annual Carbonneau Cup Golf Tournament on July 27 at Stonebridge Country Club in Goffstown. The annual tournament, in memory of past President Michael Carbonneau, helps the club raise funds for important programs in town.

The club is looking for players and sponsors. Anyone or any business who wishes to play or sponsor should visit bedfordmensclub.com and follow the links to sign up. For more information, call Tom Green at 472-5188.

The money raised is distributed to programs in Bedford that help support youth sports, education, scholarships and programs that make Bedford a better place to live. Recent programs that have benefited from the clubs fundraising have been the Bedford Bobcats, the elementary school’s special needs program, Bedford Educational Farm at Joppa Hill, The Bedford Barracudas and the Bedford Fire and Police departments. Other programs are supported such as the US First program, scholarships for graduating senior high school students from Bedford, Stand By Me at McKelvie and other programs.

Any man older than 21 who lives or works in Bedford is invited to attend a meeting. The club meets the second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Weathervane in Bedford.
