Follow the Blooms Tour in Bedford

On July 7, the Follow the Blooms Garden Tour in Bedford will take place at five different Bedford gardens and one vegetable garden from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The individual gardens will showcase water features, swimming pools, garden rooms, perennial beds and borders, raised planting beds, terraces and container gardens.

The tour, sponsored by the Bedford Garden Club and the Bedford Women’s Club, also will feature local artists creating new works at the gardens throughout the day. The Bedford Craftworker’s Guild, located in the Oliver Kendall House behind the Bedford Library, will offer locally created, garden-related crafts for sale during tour hours. Outdoor tables will be set up by the Guild for those wishing to bring a picnic lunch.

Advanced tickets are $17 and are available at the Bedford Fields and the Depot Farm in Merrimack or by sending a check by July 1 payable to the Bedford Women’s Club (BWC) (with “Garden Tour” on the memo line) to BWC, c/o Jackie Lucas, 31 McQuade Brook Road, Bedford, NH 03110.
