Franklin Savings Bank has opened a new loan office in Bedford to serve the commercial and residential lending needs of the community. Along with the opening of the new loan office, the bank announced the appointment of two experienced lenders to staff the new facility, which is located at 116 S. River Road in the Coldstream Office Park.

Andre Tremblay, vice president and commercial loan officer, will serve the needs of businesses and commercial real estate investors, while Kristi Lacasse, retail lending officer, will assist customers with home mortgages and refinancing.

Tremblay brings 26 years of commercial real estate lending experience to his position. He has worked in commercial lending with TD Bank and Bank of New England, where he was responsible for the development and management of commercial lending and real estate portfolios.

Lacasse comes to FSB from Hampshire First Bank, where she worked as assistant branch manager and mortgage originator. Before that, she was a mortgage officer with Ocean Bank (formerly Granite Bank).
