RSVP Fixit Corps available to help with minor home repairs

The RSVP Fixit Corps is a program of Southern New Hampshire Services that helps seniors 60 and older or disabled homeowners with minor home repairs and maintenance.

Any senior or disabled homeowner may request help from RSVP, or Retired and Senior Volunteer Program. Priority is given to those who lack the financial or physical resources to make repairs. Service examples include installing a grab bar, repairing a leaky faucet, replacing a porch step and replacing light bulbs.

Labor is provided by volunteers. There is a set fee only for materials needed. Donations are accepted.

If you need a minor repair done, call to be matched with an RSVP Fixit Corps volunteer.

In the Nashua area, call Nicholas Copadis at 598-9421. In the Manchester area, call Dee Martin at 668-8010, ext. 6022.
