Members of the Bedford Garden Club’s Executive Board have been busy preparing an exciting schedule of activities for the coming fall, winter and spring seasons. Officers for 2016-17 are Jeanne Popielarz, president; Claire Sills and Bobbie Potter, co-vice presidents; Kerri Coffey and Nancy Herper, co-secretaries; and Julie Bisbee, treasurer.

Fall events will begin Tuesday, Sept. 6, with the club’s Mum Sale at the Bedford Farmers Market from 3-6 p.m. (or while supplies last) in the parking lot of 190 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford, St. Elizabeth Seton’s parish. Proceeds from this annual fundraising effort help to support the club’s educational programs and maintain the club’s eight community gardens located throughout town.

On Monday, Sept. 19, members resume their monthly meeting schedule with a Breakfast Social at 9:30 a.m. in the Bedford Public Library’s McAllaster Room. Prospective members are welcome. RSVP at contact@
