MERRIMACK – The Merrimack Police Department would like to remind residents that the winter parking ban is now in effect.

The ban is in effect until April 15.

From 11 p.m.-6 a.m., vehicles are not allowed to park on public ways.

Vehicles that are parked on the roadway during the listed hours are subject to a summons with a fine.

Anyone who impedes snow removal operations is also subject to their vehicle being towed.
