Meet mini maestro Kaitlin Teed
Thursday mornings are pretty quiet at the Manchester Community Music School, that is until about 10:00 am when the sound of tiny voices can be heard in the halls. Soon those tiny voices are accompanied by guitar playing and singing as Kaitlin’s Sprouting Melodies Class begins.
Beginning her musical journey at just 6 months old, Miniature Maestro Kaitlin was chosen as Musician of the Month by Music Therapist and Sprouting Melodies Instructor, Maureen Young. “Kaitlin just lights up in our Sprouting Melodies classes!” shared Young. “It has been so wonderful to see her explore and grow over the last few months, reaching a variety of developmental milestones within our music settings. We play the Sprouting Melodies® CD in the car and she loves it. We also love Maureen, she is very sweet and good
with kids and has such a
Kaitlin’s mom hopes that one day she’ll play a musical instrument, but for now they’ll enjoy singing, laughing, and playing as they travel on this journey of musical exploration together.
