Donate items to Bedford Boy Scout Troop 5 yard sale!

Time to start your spring cleaning! Bedford Boy Scout Troop 5 is seeking gently used “treasures” for their upcoming annual MEGA yard sale. The proceeds from the yard sale will go to help our young men and young women learn to be prepared and to serve their community. The yard sale funds go toward activities like: emergency response training, first aid training, courses in citizenship and camping equipment.

Donations may be dropped off at the Scout trailer located at the SAU district office parking lot at 103 County Road, Bedford. Donations accepted through Friday May 17. Acceptable items include: tools, bikes, kitchen items, gently used clothing, books, toys, games, sporting goods and other miscellaneous items in good condition. Please note that we are unable to accept furniture, exercise equipment, TVs, computer monitors, mattresses/bedding, children’s car seats or broken items.

If you have high quality/large donations, please contact Katie Moore at 603-714-4145 for information. The yard sale will take place on Saturday, May 18 at Bedford High School located at 47 Nashua Road in Bedford. The yard sale is the Scouts’ biggest fundraiser for the year and our scouts greatly appreciate your donations! Your contributions make it possible for our scouts to have the best possible experience in scouting and reach their highest goals and aspirations.
