Animal Rescue League of NH and Great North Aleworks expands annual Beer Can Label Contest

BEDFORD – The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2025 Paw Prints Beer Can Label Contest, in collaboration with Great North Aleworks.

From now until Aug. 4, pet owners are invited to enter their beloved companion animals for a chance to have their face featured on a limited-edition beer can.

“This year is the third year of our collaboration with Great North Aleworks and we are very excited to expand the contest to include all pets, not just dogs,” said CEO Marianne Jones. “We already have cats, dogs, rabbits and even a lamb in the running. It’s a celebration of our love for all the pets in our lives, while raising vital funds that directly support the animals in our care.”

How to Enter & Support the ARLNH

-Go to www.gogophotocontest.com/arlnh

-Submit a high-quality photo of your pet (one pet per entry), a $10 donation, and a short description of what makes them unique.

-From now until Aug. 4 (polls close at 9 p.m.), encourage friends, family and social media followers to vote. Each vote is a $1 donation to the ARLNH.

All proceeds benefit the ARLNH, a local nonprofit animal shelter serving more than 2,000 animals annually through adoption, foster care, humane education and community programming such as a pet food pantry and low-cost spay/neuter clinics. The ARLNH receives no state or federal funding and is almost entirely dependent upon donations.

The four pets with the most votes will automatically win! In the case of a tie-breaker, three ARLNH selected judges will choose the winner. Images of the four winning pets will each appear on a one-pint can and, along with images of a current shelter animal or alum, will complete the faces of a four pack of “Paw Prints.”

A can release party at Great North Aleworks in Manchester is scheduled for Sept. 20.
