CONCORD – Seven Celebrity Chefs have been select to represent the fourth annual Restaurant Week New Hampshire, a statewide program of the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association that will run March 20-27.

For those eight days, participating restaurants will offer special Restaurant Week New Hampshire menu items with various pricing options, some including a prix-fixe, three-course lunch and/or dinner menu.

Celebrity Chefs were chosen for their contributions to the culinary community in New Hampshire. Each one strives to bring quality food, unique menus and the best culinary experience they can offer to the Granite State.

The Celebrity Chefs are:

Peter Agostinelli, executive chef at Bedford Village Inn, who has more than 20 years of culinary experience in more than eight restaurants.

Joseph Brenner, executive chef at Tuscan Kitchen in Salem, who was culinary director for Todd English and helped open 14 restaurants in 16 years with the English Group.

Rob DeFrancesco, executive sous chef at Copper Door in Bedford.

Kevin Halligan, owner and executive chef of the farm-to-table restaurant Local Eatery, located in a historic Laconia train station in the heart of the Lakes Region.

Malik Hammond, culinary director for The Common Man restaurants, which has seven locations, including Merrimack.

David Masotta, who joined Three Chimneys Inn in Durham in 2006 as executive chef after having owned and operated Rutabagas in Salem, where he was recognized as “Best of New Hampshire” by New Hampshire magazine.

Scott Ouellette, chef/owner of three New Hampshire restaurants: O Steaks & Seafood, Canoe Restaurant & Tavern, and a catering and banquet facility in Moultonborough.

Visit with the Celebrity Chefs at the Restaurant Week New Hampshire kickoff event at Tuscan Kitchen in Salem from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 19. Doors will open at 5:30 for the chance to taste food and spirits from the Celebrity Chefs and sponsors.
