WILTON – One section of the original roof of Wil­ton-Lyndeborough Coop­erative High School will be replaced this spring using $60,000 from a capital re­serve fund.

The School Board voted to do the work at their meeting on March 2 "in order to get the work into the bidder’s schedule."

Two bids were received for the work.

The school dates to 1971, and the roof was last re­paired in 1999 during reno­vations and the construction of the middle school.

The work is the start of a program to replace the en­tire roof over the next few years at a total cost of about $500,000. There is currently a balance of $257,500 in the fund. The project is sched­uled for completion in 2022.
