Catalinas perform in Massachusetts

The Catalinas Synchronized Swim Team of the Granite YMCA recently competed in the 2017 New England Synchronized Swim Association North & South Novice Invitational & Intermediate, Age Group and Masters Championships at Central Mass. YWCA in Worcester, Mass.
In the Age Group 18-19 Figure competition Katherine Spalding, of Mont Vernon, placed fifth, while Abigail Smith of Manchester placed sixth, Julia Benson of Concord placed seventh and Annalise Poisson of Amherst placed eighth.
In the Age Group 18-19 routine portion of the competition, Abigail Smith and Katharine Spalding placed first for their duet and Julia Benson, Annalise Poisson, Smith, and Spalding placed third for their team routine. All the Age Group routines qualified for the Age Group Regional Championships in Andover, Mass.
