The Silvertones from the Souhegan Valley will be in a ukulele battle of the bands this Saturday, April 20 with celebrity judges in the Portsmouth Music Hall, sponsored by the Southern NH Ukulele Group. The Silvertones formed in ukulele class under the direction of Amy Conley of Milford and and the event is a benefit for the Ukulele Kids Club, which provides ukuleles to children in hospitals, The event starts at 2 p.m. To learn more about the Ukulele Kids Club go to theukc.org.
