Mindfulness: A better me, a better you, a better world

AMHERST – At The Amherst Town Library on Nov. 6, there will be a presentation on mindfulness. Mindfulness is the practice of intentionally giving quality attention to whatever is occurring in the present moment in a focused, sustained, and non-judgmental way. By making mindfulness a practice in your life you will be more present, more effective, calmer and less stressed. Your relationships will benefit as will the quality of your actions in the world. In this presentation you will learn some mindfulness essentials that can immediately be applied in daily living.

Dr. Annabel Beerel and Tom Raffio, President & CEO of Northeast Delta Dental and co-authors of Mindfulness: a better me; a better you; a better world, will explain the concepts of mindfulness.

All adult programs offered at the Amherst Town Library are free and open to the public. However, registration is REQUIRED for each program due to space limitations.
