Veterans Day 2019

About 20 people gathered near the town hall at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11 to remember and honor all veterans. The ceremonies were conducted by members of the Lafayette Artillery Company, Walter Holland, Captain. Three of those attending, including Col. Derald Radke, USAF, ret., fired the 1844 brass cannon. Taps was played by member Christian Hettinger. The group then gathered in the hall to get warm and socialize. Veterans and members of the Lafayette Artillery Co., above, gathered around the 1844 cannon after ceremonies on Veterans’ Day in Lyndeborough Center.
