Milford water ban continued by DPW

MILFORD – The Milford water department announced an outside water ban, effective June 20. In a brief statement, DPW said, “The water department is issuing an outside water ban. Water levels throughout the state are very low with no rain in the forecast.” The town of Merrimack was the first to issue an outside water ban on 19 and other municipalities are expected to add water bans. The Milford water website states their missions is, “to provide exceptional water and sewer services through responsible and creative stewardship of the resources and assets we manage. To fulfill our responsibility of protecting the environment and the health of our customers. To strive to improve the quality and efficiency of our service to the community.”
