Cinemagic closing permanently

MERRIMACK – After 20 years in business, the popular Cinemagic movie theater chain, with locations in Merrimack, Hooksett and Portsmouth, has announced that it is permanently closing all locations in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine. “To our thousands of ‘Cinemagicians,’ who have joined us in providing the magic of movies on the big screen over the past two decades and the generations of movie goers we have served, we thank you for being part of our family,” Zycorp Entertainment, which operates eight Cinemagic theaters and 91 screens in New England, said in a statement. Initially, the closures were only to be temporary, caused by the coronavirus.
