Providence, R.I. – The Rhode Island Mortgage Bankers Association recently announced that Samia DeMarco, national sales manager at Birchwood Credit Services Inc., has joined its board of directors in 2021.

DeMarco has already distinguished herself as an accomplished professional in her field. In 2019, she was awarded the RIMBA Rising Star Award, and was named one of National Mortgage Professional Magazines 40 Most Influential Mortgage Professionals Under 40. She currently holds two additional board seats within the New England MBAs, including serving as President in New Hampshire.

DeMarco is also a member of RIMBA’s Women in Mortgage Banking, Young Mortgage Professionals, and Membership Committees.

“The RIMBA Board is consistently looking for new and innovative ways to make a positive difference in both the mortgage industry and in the communities in which we live and work,” said DeMarco. “I share their dedication to service and look forward to partnering with my colleagues to continue the great work of this organization.”

Outside of her professional work in the industry, DeMarco is a mother of two, a “dog-mom” of two, and a dedicated cheerleading coach with a love of fitness.

She currently lives in Milford, and enjoys particularly hiking, gardening and swimming.
