Concert to honor Paul Kennedy

WILTON – The Wilton Folk Café will present an outdoor concert at the Public Library on Friday, July 23, at 6:30 p.m. The concert, featuring singer-guitarist Mike Agranoff, will be dedicated to long-time resident Paul Kenndey who passed away last year.

The concert is free, but registration is required. Call the library at 654-2561. Information can be found at the library’s website or on the Wilton Folk Café’s website.

Agranoff, a fingerstyle guitarist, is from New Jersey. His songs range from traditional to more modern, and combine humor and storytelling. For more about him, visit www.mikeagranoff.com.

Kennedy was a much-liked figure who took part in all of the town’s activities and celebrations and was a big part of the Special Needs Community. He helped wherever and whenever he could.

The concert is sponsored by the Wilton Public Library and Friends; Wilton Main Street Association; and TD Bank. Refreshments will be served.

In case of rain, the concert will be rescheduled to Friday, July 30.
