Wander Through Wilton set for this weekend

WILTON – The popular fall event has returned this year for three days, Nov. 5 through 7, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., all along Main Street. Shops and the Riverview Mill Arts Community will be open.

Main Street offers a lot in addition to nostalgic charm – an old-time candy shop, The Town Hall Theater, boutiques, antiques and collectibles, art studios and places to eat. Many are offering specials.

Off Main Street participants include The House By The Side of the Road, a garden center on Route 101, and Hilltop Café at Four Corners Farm on Abbott Hill. Participants will be well marked.

Parking is free.

Pick up a Wander Pass – 500 will be given away by participating businesses. When the pass has been stamped by all of the participants, submit it to win a gift basket of local goodies and treats from local artists and businesses. The Prize Basket will be on display at the Riverview Mills Arts Community.

The event is sponsored by Main Street Association and hosted by Prayers of Nature at Riverview Mills.

For information contact Kate Schimke at Prayers of Nature, 603-732-3815 or info@prayersofnature.com. Contact each business directly as some hours are different.

Schimke said the event will probably repeated over Mothers’ Day weekend as it has in the past.
