Dailey scholarship

WILTON – The Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative School Board has announced the creation of a scholarship in memory of former board member Harry Dailey.

To qualify for the scholarship, students will be required to submit an essay on the importance of community service. Full details are available in the high school counseling office.

Dailey served as chairman of the board for many years, volunteered extensively in the community, and was named a Citizen of the Year by the town. He was chairman of the committee overseeing the reconstruction of Florence Rideout Elementary School and many other projects.

His wife Gisele has also worked in the school district for many years.

Checks may be made out to WLC and should include a note that the contribution is for the Harry Dailey Memorial Scholarship Fund. Donations may be mailed to 57 School Road, Wilton NH 03086.
