Milford Thrives launches resource

MILFORD – Milford Thrives, a nonprofit organization working to build a healthy, resilient, and connected community in Milford, New Hampshire, has developed and launched Milford Kids Thrive. This online resource, https://milfordkidsthrive.org, offers a central location for families to learn about and access available community resources.

The website provides parents with a community calendar, along with a variety of educational resources on child development, wellness, and parenting. It also includes information about Milford Thrives’ Welcome Baby program and locally available child care, as well as links to clothing, food, and housing support.

“Milford Kids Thrive was designed by Milford parents, for Milford parents, to help families with babies and young children connect with each other and with community resources,” said Joelle Martin, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Milford Thrives. “The goal with Milford Kids Thrive is to help make parenting easier and to provide a nurturing, supportive community where every child can thrive.”

The site, along with its companion Facebook page (@ThrivesMilford) and email newsletter, is frequently updated to deliver to parents useful educational information and new opportunities available in Milford.

This project was funded, in part, by the Preschool Development Grant administered by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, along with support from the NH Children’s Trust. Website design services were provided by Just Flow Events & Marketing with illustrations by Jim Roldan.
