May Day celebration is April 30

High Mowing School recently annpounced the return of its traditional May Day celebration. The school will welcome the community in-person for this collaborative celebration of spring, set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 30. May 1 will be the rain date.

The event will be hosted on the High Mowing campus, located on Abbot Hill Road in Wilton.

The festival will feature the Temple-Wilton Community Farm and the Flying Gravity Circus. Events include traditional Maypole and Morris dancing; a theatrical send-off to winter; live music; a performance by the Flying Gravity Circus with free, interactive circus arts instruction for kids; a pottery sale; games and activities for kids; and food.

The event is free and open to the public.
