Emergency preparedness
WILTON – The Wilton Collaborative Space, located at the Second Congregational Church Parish Hall, 25 Gregg Street, will offer a free family workshop for emergency preparedness on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 6:30.
Vanessa Palange, community outreach coordinator for the N.H. Department of Safety’s Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management will share the key steps to be being prepared for an emergency.
She will provide the free resources that are available to residents and visitors to the state so they cab stay safe before, during, and after an emergency. Come with the kids and assemble a kit for family use. Some of the items provided include emergency radios, mylar blankets, first-aid kits, lantern flashlights, batteries.
