Voters can avoid hassle by registering early

Anyone planning to vote in the Nov. 8 elections who is unregistered can avoid the hassle of signing up at the polls on Election Day.

Registration is offered at the town offices during regular business hours. Towns have also scheduled their final opportunities for early registration in person.

The Milford supervisors of the checklist will be in session in the town hall lobby Wednesday, Nov. 2, 4:30 p.m. for new voter registration and to approve pending voter registrations for upcoming election.

In Amherst, the supervisors of the checklist will be at Town Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 6-7:30 p.m.

Lyndeborough’s supervisors will be at Citizens Hall on Saturday, Oct., 29, from 11-11:30 a.m.

Residents of Temple can register Thursday at the town’s Municipal Building from 7-7:30 p.m.

Greenville supervisors will register voters Thursday at the Town Hall from 7-8 p.m.

In Brookline, the supervisors will be in session Monday, Oct. 31, 5-4:30 at Town Hall.

New Ipswich supervisors will meet Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 7-8 p.m. at te Town Office.

On Election Day, voters looking to register should bring a valid photo ID. Voters that do not bring a valid photo ID execute a challenged voter affidavit form and will later receive a letter requesting confirmation they voted.
