Wiffle ball tourney to fight cancer

WILTON – A Wiffle ball tournament to support Strike Out Cancer will be held on Saturday, Aug. 19, 10 a.m. on Carnival Hall. 

All proceeds will benefit Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation. 

Teams of four to six players in several age brackets will be competing. 

The winning team will hoist a trophy and the donation will be made in the team’s name. 

Hot dogs, snacks and drinks will be available as well as a 50/50 raffle. 

Registration of new teams has closed, but there will be lots of activities and fun for the whole family.
