Ted Herbert Music School to host its jazz showcase on June 8

The Ted Herbert Music School will host its Jazz Showcase on June 8 at the Ted Herbert Music School and Majestic Studio Theatre located in Manchester. This afternoon of Jazz will feature performances by the 2025 Ted Herbert Community Big Band as well as performances by Ted Herbert Students and Instructors.

Over the last several months the Ted Herbert Community Big Band of student musicians ages 13-19, have been rehearsing in an ensemble setting with mentoring by professional working musicians under the direction of musician, Thomas Salyers.

Ted Herbert Community Big Band Student performers include: Jillian Dunlap (Alto Saxophone), Anne Goodwin (Baritone Saxophone), Colin Martineau and Elizabeth McCormack (Tenor Saxophone), Troy LaFlamme (Bass), Ben Simpson (Trumpet), Evan Muras and Martin Pennington (Piano), Charlie Hopkins and Geno Termini (Drums), and Alex Czajka and Nick Tetro (Trombone).

Ted Herbert Community Big Band Professional Musicians performing on June 8th include: Thomas Salyers (Director/Trumpet), Bob Couturier (Trumpet), Max Lalos (Trombone), and Mike Jacobs (Alto Saxophone). The teens in the program were also mentored by Matt Bruneau and Matt Redmond (Drums), Nick Gendron (Bass/Rhythm Section), Andrea Davies (Saxophone).

Join us for the Jazz Showcase on Sunday, June 8 at 3pm. Performance will be held at The Ted Herbert Music School / Majestic Studio Theatre, 880 Page Street Manchester, NH 03109.
