MILFORD – A two-hour protest will be held from 2-4 p.m. on the Milford Oval in recognition of the No Kings Nationwide Day of Defiance on June 14.

According to the Indivisible movement, No Kings is a day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption under President Donald Trump and his allies. Indivisible is concerned with crackdowns on free speech, detention of people for their political views, threats to deport American citizens and defiance of the U.S. Judicial System.

A core principle behind all No Kings is a commitment to nonviolent action. All participants will be expected to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
