Sample the region’s summer music menu

A season of music performed free to the public is scheduled at a variety of outdoor venues, sites that include The Greeley Park Bandshell, graced there last season by Monadnock, a popular bluegrass group that is anticipated to return to Nashua on July 21.  File photo by LORETTA JACKSON

Town officials throughout the region are entertaining families and friends with a full roster of outdoor summer concerts showcasing musicians whose performances range from bluegrass to country rock to orchestral classics. Check town websites for confirmation of these offerings and for additional music programs that are not listed.

July schedules only are highlighted here. Most towns, however, carry on performances into the late summer. Check online as the summer concert season draws to a conclusion.

The events shared here represent online listings. All are free to the public. Seating most often is on the grassy lawns of public parks, sites amenable to lawn chairs or blankets for easy seating and listening.
