AMHERST – Merrimack County Savings Bank recently celebrated the grand opening of Foundation Armor’s headquarters and warehouse in Amherst.

A leading manufacturer of industrial grade concrete sealers and coatings, Foundation Armor outgrew its rented office building and reached out to The Merrimack to help build a commercial facility.

“I’ve had the privilege of seeing Tanya and Eric (Schifone) grow Foundation Armor over many years,” said Margot Elise Anderson, commercial loan officer at The Merrimack. “They’re not just outstanding business owners, but truly remarkable people. I’m excited to celebrate this next chapter and their continued success.”

Collaborating with The Merrimack and New Hampshire Business Finance Authority, Foundation Armor secured financing to construct a 25,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility. The new space allows the company to expand its operational capabilities while reinforcing its long-term goals and growth.

“It’s been a pleasure working with Margot and The Merrimack on this milestone project,” said Tanya Schifone, president of Foundation Armor. “As a small business, The Merrimack was there to support us along the journey and even stepped in to streamline our financial operations.”
