NASHUA – The Nashua Regional Planning Commission will be holding its fifth Household Hazardous Waste Collection on Sept. 27 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Nashua Park and Ride, 25 Crown St.

The collection is open to residents from Amherst, Brookline, Hollis, Hudson, Litchfield, Merrimack, Milford, Mont Vernon, Nashua, Pelham and Windham. Businesses must call the NRPC at 603-417-6570 to register and pay.

The cost is $20 per vehicle for up to 10 gallons of liquids or 20 pounds of solids. Latex/acrylic paint, electronics and medications will not be accepted. Checks should be made payable to the NRSWMD. Carpooling with neighbors is encouraged.
