Get ready for the 32nd Annual Holiday Open House & Kitty Angels Fundraiser on Nov. 1-2

The upcoming 32nd Annual Holiday Open House & Kitty Angels Fundraiser slated for Nov. 1-2 at Treasures Antiques Collectables & MORE! located at 106 Ponemah Road (Route 122) in Amherst, will again feature a grand raffle of around 50 amazing prizes as displayed here at last year's big May event by Andrea Shannon of Derry, a volunteer whose efforts added hundreds of dollars to the Kitty Angels fundraiser, one that helps sustain the all-volunteer organization whose members care for needy and homeless cats through medical care, food, shelter, neutering services and a legacy of more than 42 years in finding "forever homes" for felines of all breeds. AMHERST – A tradition of more than three decades is poised to be celebrated once again on the weekend of Nov. 1-2 during the 32nd Annual Holiday Open House and Kitty Angels Fundraiser, an event mostly outdoors on the spacious grounds of Treasures Antiques, Collectables & MORE! located at 106 Ponemah Road (Route 122) in Amherst.

There will be a full weekend of fun highlighted by vendors, raffles and live entertainment from seven performing groups or soloists, along with representatives from Kitty Angels — an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated for more than 42 years to the care and adoption of needy cats.

Vendors looking to join the festivities for the weekend may contact Sherry at Treasures for more information. Some vendor space is still available but may be juried. You’re encouraged to sign up for a space as soon as possible. She points out that the various merchants from these events are well patronized and that your only fee is actually a $35 tax-deductible donation.

Other features to the event are B’s Grumman Grub food truck, baked goods by 2 Good 2 Be Baked and visits to Mapledell Farms staff who will be presenting a petting zoo, plus horse and pony rides.

Additionally, Trading Faces, LLC will be offering fun, colorful face painting for children and adults alike. The musical entertainment roster will have performances by Joey Peavey, Roosta Gulla, “9 Strings” (Dick Spencer and Dan Rodd), Jeff Damon, Side Effects, Sunset Rhythm and Ken McAdams.
