Cher’s son arrested in NH twice in two days

WINDHAM — Elijah Blue Allman, 49, of Malibu, Calif., was taken into custody by Windham Police on March 1 after allegedly breaking into a home on Ministerial Road.
The son of pop superstar Cher, Allman had also been arrested in Concord on Feb. 27. At that time, he was found in the dining hall of St. Paul’s School and allegedly pushed a faculty member with his cane.
Regarding the Windham incident, the homeowner reportedly heard glass shatter and hid in a closet to call police. After arriving at the scene, officers found that the backdoor window had been smashed. They also found Allman “seated on the couch smoking a cigarette.” While speaking with police, Allman claimed he had permission from the homeowner to be in the residence.
Allman has been charged with burglary, two counts of criminal mischief, two counts of simple assault, criminal trespass, criminal threatening, disorderly conduct and breach of bail.
He was ordered to be held in preventative detention following his arraignment on March 2 in Salem District Court.
Under state law, if convicted, Allman could face up to 13 years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $13,000 in fines.
