Little ones love animals? Camp Critter is for them

BEDFORD – The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire is offering Camp Critter, a week-long, day summer camp for children ages 7-11. Camp Critter is geared toward children who love animals.

Camp sessions cover responsible pet ownership, safety around animals, dog bite prevention, animal behavior, wildlife and more. Each day the schedule changes to include crafts, games, guest speakers and other activities.

Camp Critter runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for six weeks. Summer dates are July 9-13, July 16-20, July 23-27, July 30-Aug. 3, Aug. 6-10, and Aug. 13-17.

Campers are asked to bring their own lunch, snack and drink and each camper receives a camp T-shirt.

The ARL receives no federal, state or United Way funds for support and is solely dependent upon fundraising events and private donations to support its cause.
