The 3rd annual MASHStock reunion celebration will be held Aug. 12 at Knight Farm on Stearns Road in Amherst. This year, the class of 1977 will have their 40th reunion and the class of 1982 will have their 35th at MASHStock.

All MASH attendees from classes 1971-93 – when MASH was a co-op high school for students from Milford, Amherst and Mont Vernon – are welcome, along with one guest over 35 years of age.

MASHStock kicks off at 3 p.m., and includes performances from four MASH-alumni bands and a huge potluck dinner at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 each until July 16 ($30 after that date) and can be purchased at www.mashstock.org.

All proceeds from MASHStock are donated to SHARE.

In 2016, MASHStock attendees and more than 30 local businesses – who provided raffle donations – raised $3,000 for SHARE. In 2017, MASHStock will again donate proceeds to SHARE. In addition, hundreds of pounds of produce – including fresh-picked corn, tomatoes and carrots – will be donated to SHARE and the Nashua Soup Kitchen by Knight Farm. Owners Brad and Karin Knight donate 95 percent of everything they grow at their Stearns Road property to benefit the local community.

MASHStock 2017’s alumni music festival will include great live performances by Natalie Brown (’79) of Circuline; The Bat Magoon Band featuring John (Bat) Magoon (’71) and Andy Simpson (’80); Straye’s Robert Allwarden (’80), Sal Anfuso (’80) and Mike Gauvreau (’80); and Rocket Waltz’s Ken Cochrane (’87), Chris Fino (’83), and Mark Fowler (’87). 

MASHStock will also hold corn hole and ping pong tournaments this year, and will raffle off more than $500 worth of prizes donated by area businesses.

The grand finale for this special night under the stars will be the Perseid meteor shower.

Knight Farm, Share and several businesses donated their services and equipment for this year’s event, including Balcom Brothers, MDs Trash Removal and Union Street Grill.
