SCORE announces new officers

The Merrimack Valley Chapter of SCORE recently installed its new slate of officers for fiscal year 2018.

Ed Izzo, of Nashua, will serve as chairman; Roman Geletkanycz, of Bedford, will be first vice chairman; Robbie Grady, of Hooksett, second vice chairman; Geoff Geoffrion, of Merrimack, treasurer; and Dolores Alberghini, secretary.

(merrimackvalley.score.org), which covers Nashua, Manchester, Concord and the surrounding areas, has approximately 60 current and former business executives available to provide free, confidential, one-on-one business counseling and training workshops for area start-ups and existing businesses. The chapter is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2017.

Hollis Town Band seeking singers

HOLLIS – The town band is looking for people who love to sing to join the Holiday Community Chorus. Rehearsals are held 7:30-8:15 p.m. Wednesdays, Oct. 18 through December, on the second floor of the Hollis Town Hall. No audition is required, just show up and sing with us. All ages are welcome and all voices are needed!

The Holiday Community Concert is a cooperative effort with the Ladies Charitable Society of the Congregational Church of Hollis. Admission is non-perishable food that will be distributed in the community. Each year, over 50 food baskets are distributed. The concert date is Saturday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Hollis Brookline High School Auditorium.
