Dancers sought for show at Palace
MANCHESTER – If you’ve ever dreamed of joining a big city dance cast, the Palace Theatre is looking for you.
The Manchester performing arts center is searching New Hampshire for dancers, ages 16 and older, to compete for a $1,000 contract to join a cast of New York City dancers for Palace Theatre’s upcoming, original production, “Royalty of Rock n’ Pop.”
Interested dancers should submit contact details and a 60-second dance video by Jan. 1 to danceoff.nh@gmail.com.
Semi-finalists will appear in a dance-off at the Palace Theatre in January. The last dancer standing will win the $1,000 contract to be part of “Royalty of Rock n’ Pop” from Feb. 17 through March 3.
“Royalty of Rock n’ Pop,” a follow-up to Palace Theatre’s “The Four Piano Men,” is an original production and tribute to the music of Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. Vocalists and dancers will take the audience on a trip through the accomplishments of two of the most influential entertainers of all time.
For more contest information, contact Natalie McKnight at the Palace Theatre, 668-5588.
