Occupy plans public walk

MANCHESTER – Occupy New Hampshire is sponsoring an Operation Pride/Liberty Walk/Stand Up and March for Human Rights on Saturday, Jan. 7, at Veterans Park, Manchester.

The public walk, to take off from the Elm Street location at noon, will continue to Victory Park located at the corner of Chestnut and Concord, across from the YMCA, before marching back to Veterans Park, representatives said.

The walk, scheduled for the same day as WMUR and ABC News’ Republican presidential debate leading up to the New Hampshire primary, is intended to call attention “to attacks on the American family,” representatives said.
