Merrimack Police now wearing masks

MERRIMACK – The Merrimack Police Department has issued the following statement in response to the novel coronavirus.

“We hope that everyone is doing well, and we want to let you know that effective today (April 6) all police officers will be wearing masks while interacting with the public as suggested by the CDC.

This is for the safety of the officers and the safety of the general public. Mask use and proper social distancing will help stop the spread of COVID-19. Please do your part and stay safe,” the release stated.
