MERRIMACK – The transfer station now is operating under summer hours, staying open until 7 on Thursday evenings. Transfer station hours are as follows:

• Monday: Closed

• Tuesday: 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.

• Wednesday: 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.

• Thursday: 8 a.m.- 7 p.m.

• Friday: 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.

• Saturday: 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.

• Sunday: Closed

If you have the opportunity to go during the week, you will save yourself delays and reduce Saturday delays for essential employees who cannot go during the week.

“Thanks you for your understanding and patience,” town officials wrote in a press release.
