Are you ready to challenge yourself?  The Amherst Lions Club is bringing another great event to the community, Lions Roar 5k Race, Saturday, June 11, on the Amherst Town Common by Town Hall (2 Main Street), Amherst, NH, starting at 10am!  This event is designed as a fast course to get runners ready for future summer racing events.  The racecourse starts on Church Street by the town green, loops through several back roads and ends at the green.  It is open to individuals aged 13 and over.  All race proceeds will go to support local community needs. 

Race registration is now open, with an early bird price of $20 through May 20, 2022!  Starting on May 21, the price goes up to $25.  The registration will close June 9.  The cost after that is $30 for late registering on-site up to 30 minutes before the race.

The first 100 on-line registrants will also receive a race t-shirt!  All race participants will pick up the race bib on the day of the race, race bibs and race swag will be available for pick up from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM.

There will be awards for first place in 3 age groups (13-18, 19-40, 41 and up) men and women.  Awards will be given around 11:15 AM.  Results will be posted online, official time kept.

The club is also planning a Family Fun Day after the race, so you and the family can relax on the green.
