MERRIMACK — More than 150 girls from Girls Inc. New Hampshire recently stepped into confidence and color thanks to a generous gift of new Crocs from Brady Sullivan Properties.
The girls, 75 from the Girls Inc. Manchester Center and 85 from its Nashua Center, traveled to Merrimack Premium Outlets to select their new shoes.
“Getting a new pair of Crocs made every single girl feel special, and we all love to feel special with a new pair of shoes,” said Sharron McCarthy, CEO of Girls Inc. of New Hampshire. “We are grateful to Crocs for opening the store early on Monday and Tuesday morning, just for Girls Inc. New Hampshire, allowing the girls to experience special VIP treatment, and to Brady Sullivan for their kindness and generosity. The cost of back-to-school clothes and supplies adds up, and being able to provide brand new, well-fitting, and comfortable shoes to each girl helps immensely. What a great way to help the girls begin a new school year with confidence.”
Several volunteers from Brady Sullivan, Principal Partner Arthur Sullivan and Girls Inc. staff helped the girls select Classic Clogs. Once they picked out their favorite pair, they proceeded to the check-out counter to have their new shoes bagged up to take home.
“This is truly one of my favorite events,” said Sullivan. “There’s nothing better than seeing the joy on the girls’ faces as they pick out their favorite Crocs. We’re proud to support Girls Inc. and to help these incredible young women start the school year feeling confident and cared for.”
Brady Sullivan provided more than 160 pairs of shoes to Girls Inc. New Hampshire, including more than 25 girls ages 12 to 15 from the Young Women’s Leadership summer program.
