Deborah L. (Burns) Fenton

Deborah L. (Burns) Fenton 64, of Bedford, NH died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in Burlington, MA after a period of failing health attributed to her years of battling Crohn’s Disease.

Debbie and her twin brother, David, were born prematurely at Wheelus AFB, Tripoli, Libya on July 2, 1953. After returning to the USA, the family resided in Kittery, Maine, where Debbie graduated from R.W. Traip Academy.

Debbie had a creative instinct, and an entrepreneurial spirit. For several years, she owned and managed a Floral Shop in Nashua, where her speciality was floral wedding arrangments.. After moving to Florida in the 90’s, she owned and managed a catering business and a food truck concession. Many years ago, she created and sold edible candy trees – a very early precursor to todays’ popular products. She also experimented with design prototypes for useful ostomy products. She would have done well in today’s business environment of investors looking for creative inventors.

Debbie joys are her family, travel and cooking. Her amusing inability to cook for just 2 people, regularly benefitted those around her. She delighted in surprising her grandchildren with their favorite foods.

Debbie is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 12 years, Barry Fenton. Her 3 children, Jennifer Hill Maszczak, husband, Ryan Maszczak; Holly Hill, Andrew Hill his wife., Suzan. Her grandchildren,
