Newport, NH – Ruth (McIntosh) Odell, 94, died peacefully Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Woodlawn Care Center in Newport. She was born in Milford, NH on July 17, 1916, the daughter of James and Frances Jean (Murphy) McIntosh. She was educated in Milford schools and lived there most of her life. She was the longest living member of the Milford Methodist Church. Her husband, Robert P. Odell, died in 2002. Members of the surviving family include a son, Robert Odell Jr. of Lempster, two daughters, Jean Tedder of Fairfax, VA and Norine Hicks of Lawrenceville, GA; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four nephews and three nieces.

A graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH at the convenience of the family. Chadwick Funeral Service of New London, NH is assisting the family with arrangements.
