Robert J. Albertini age 78 died December 30, 2010 at Radius in Plymouth, MA. He was the father of Christopher and Mathew Albertini, both predeceased him. He is survived by a daughter-in-law, Jody Searle Albertini and 2 granddaughters, Elise and Emma Albertini of New Boston as well as his former wife, Patricia Albertini of Milford. He was born in Plymouth, MA on August 7, 1932 to Renato and Victoria Albertini.

Robert was a Navy veteran serving in the communications sector during the Korean Conflict.

After his discharge he worked part-time for the USPS while attending Boston University. In 1957 he became an Air Traffic Controller and settled in Amherst, NH. He retired to manage the family cranberry bog developed by his father in the early 1950s. It was his dream that he and his son Matt would one day manage the bog together.

Robert is also survived by 2 nieces, Beth and Mark Thompson, Jane and Frank Ward and a nephew Mark and Sharon Albertini. Besides the loss of his 2 sons, Robert was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Bernard Albertini.

Burial was in Plymouth, MA.
