Ada M. Tardiff

Ada M. Tardiff, 67, resident of Weare, NH, died suddenly on April 25, 2011 at Concord Hospital, Concord, NH.

She was born in Jonquere, Quebec, Canada on June 4, 1943, a daughter of William J. Adams and Kathleen Mary Jane (Aikens).

Mrs. Tardiff had lived in Weare for the past five years and formerly made her home in Milford, NH for 20 years and Merrimack, NH for 10 years.

She and her husband owned and operated Tardiff Construction Company, Weare, NH.

Mrs. Tardiff enjoyed sewing, quilting, genealogy, animals, working on her computer and most specially spending time with her family. In addition, she was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary in Woodstock, NH.

Family members include her husband of 36 years, Harold J. Tardiff Sr. of Weare, NH; her daughter and best friend, Heidi L. Gonzales and her husband, Peter of Weare, NH; two stepsons, Mark Tardiff of Porter, ME and Norman Tardiff of Brooks, ME; a stepdaughter, Nancy Korel of Cumberland, ME; two grandchildren, Justin and Johnathon Gonzales, both of Weare; three sisters, Virginia E. Pedersen of Nanimo, BC, Gwen J. Parker of Billerica, MA and Kathleen W. Willey of Nashua, NH; a brother, William J. Adams of Concord, NH; many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

There are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
