Doris R. Bosse

Doris R. Bosse, 92, died on Tuesday September 27, 2011, in her home after a long illness. She was born on November 21, 1918, the daughter of Urgyle and Rose (Belanger) Rodier.

She was a lifelong resident of Greenville and lived in the same home since she was 2 years old.

She worked at The Florence Mill as a floor boss and secretary, and for Electrapack Electronics in Peterborough in the purchasing department. She also worked for Dr. Francisco Rubira, pediatrician, as his medical secretary until her retirement in 1980.

Doris had an amazing artistic ability that was seen at home and at her cottage in Weare.

She was a cake decorator and her cakes were decorated with intricate beauty.

She loved dancing with her husband Ray and followed the big bands, entering dance contests. She spent every summer for 51 years at her cottage on Horace Lake

Every holiday she would decorate and Christmas was her special time. She decorated every room in her home and many people would come and visit. WMUR-TV featured Doris in a segment on Christmas decorations in New Hampshire.

Her husband of 34 years, Raymond C. Valliere Sr., died in 1973. She leaves her son, Raymond C. Valliere Jr. and his wife Kathy; her 3 grandchildren, Joy Richardson and husband Ron of Charlotte, NC, Megan Valliere and Mark Valliere and wife Amanda of Greenville; and 7 great-grandchildren, Emma, Camden, Dylan, William, Levi, Steven and Kaylee.

She married Emile J. Bosse who died in 2008; husband of 32 years. She leaves a stepson, Donald Bosse and wife Nancy; 2 granddaughters, Kimberly Aldrich and husband Jeff, Karen Bosse of New Hampton, NH; and 3 great-grandchildren, Maria, Alex, and Ethan.

People are warmly welcome to attend services at the Sacred Heart Church in Greenville, NH, which will be held Friday September 30 at 11 o’clock AM.

Following will be a committal service at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Ipswich, NH.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Knights of Columbus. The arrangements are in the care of the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple St., Wilton, NH.
