Hermel Pelletier

Hermel Pelletier, 69, of Milford, NH died Saturday December 17 at his home. He was born on August 16, 1942 in St. Adalbert Canada. He was the son of the late Agenard and Claire Pelletier.

Hermel was the owner and operator of the Monadnock Land Clearing Company and received many awards for his craft including NH logger of the year in 2008 and Northeastern logger of the year in 2010. He was also an active member in the NH Timberland Owners Association. He also enjoyed restoring antique cars and traveling to Canada and Florida.

Hermel is survived by a son Lyle Brundige and his wife Jennifer of Greenville, NH. 3 daughters; Dorie Smith and her husband Douglas of New Boston, NH. Angela Sennott and her husband Eric of New Ipswich, NH. Sylvie Parent of Canada. 5 brothers; Denis, Gilles, Mario, Guy, and Martin. 2 sisters; Gisele Grigoriadis and Diane Thibault. 15 grandchildren; Joshua, Justin, Cecil, Jacob, Stephanie, Joel, Brandon, Jason, Samantha, Stephen, Jessica, Maxim, Bianca, William, Nathaniel, and one great granddaughter. Hermel is also survived by his companion Jeanne d’arc Vaillancourt. He is predeceased by his wife Rae (Randall). 3 brothers; Yval, Gerald, and Claremont Pelletier, and one grandson Jeremy.

A private service for Hermel’s family will be held Thursday at the Pleasant St Cemetery in Greenville, NH.
